Our Site is intended to provide information about Candor Candy, our products, and our store, and to allow you to contact us with questions or inquiries.

At this time:

• We do not sell products online

• We do not offer customer accounts or logins through the Site

All in-store purchases are governed by applicable in-store policies and applicable law.

2. Eligibility

The Site is intended for individuals who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Privacy

Your use of the Site is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms.

If you contact us through the Site, you consent to receive responses from us electronically (for example, by email).

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter through a third-party platform such as Substack, your subscription is governed by that platform’s own terms and privacy practices.

7. Gift Cards

Candor Candy may offer physical gift cards and e-gift cards (“Gift Cards”).

• Gift Cards are redeemable only for eligible goods offered by Candor Candy.

• Gift Cards expire nine years from date of purchase; they are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

• Treat Gift Cards like cash; we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use.

• E-gift cards may be issued or delivered through Square, Inc. or its affiliates, and use of those services may be subject to Square’s terms and privacy practices.

Gift Cards are issued and administered in accordance with applicable law.

8. Returns and Exchanges

Because we sell food products, all sales are final except as described below.

Spoiled or Damaged Items
If a pantry item is later discovered to be spoiled or damaged at the time of purchase or discovered upon opening, please let us know within a reasonable time. We will work with you to provide a replacement or other appropriate resolution.

Unopened Gifts
We understand things happen - a friend purchases you a prepackaged tin of cookiest unaware of a food allergy, you somehow receive three new water bottles for a single birthday. At our staff’s discretion, we may offer exchanges for unopened gift items (eg - candles, glassware, or individually packaged specialty dry goods.) All exchanges must be made in a reasonable time, be in their original condition, and be able to be restocked and resold safely and confidently.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for any purchased bulk pick + mix candy, other perishable food items (except as described above), or items of any category that cannot be safely or confidently restocked for sale.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

9. Third-Party Links

Our Site may include links to third-party websites or services (such as Substack or Google). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their own terms.

10. Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. While we strive to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, or availability of the Site.

Candor Candy’s total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed $100.
