At CANDOR, we’re deeply grateful to be part of a neighborhood that shows up for one another.
We receive many requests to support local events, schools, fundraisers, and community efforts, and we genuinely wish we could say yes to all of them.
As a young growing business whose doors just opened March 31st, our first priorities are to build a stable foundation, increase wages and benefits for our team, and invest in long-term sustainability to ensure this shop is around to provide new forms of small business magic for generations.
We’ve committed to giving back through our CANDY CAN DO GOOD initiative, donating $1 to NYC foodbanks for every social media follower we gain in 2026. We’re holding ourselves accountable to this number despite it representing an outsized portion of our profits; the methodology allows us to track our impact in a structured, transparent way. With that context, we hope you understand why we’re unable to accommodate every additional request we receive.
That said, we invite you to share more about your organization and event below. We review submissions and will be in touch if there’s alignment and space within our allocated budget for charitable giving.
